Mississippi Entomological Museum Database on ECDYSIS: A Portal for Live-data Arthropod Collections
The Mississippi Entomological Museum (MEM) has partnered with ECDYSIS: A Portal for Live-data Arthropod Collections to host specimen data on their interactive database site. To access current MEM records (or records from other institutions) on ECDYSIS, go to the ECDYSIS Collections page, click the Specimens & Observations tab near the top left, then just below the tab click inside of the Select/Deselect box to deselect all collection records from various institutions, scroll down to the "Institutional Collections" section and click in the box for Mississippi Entomological Museum (MISSA-MEM), then press return or scroll back to top of the page and click on the Search Button near upper right. The "Search Criteria" window will open, and MEM records can be searched using various parameters such as family or scientific name. To access records from multiple institutions at one time, simply select the boxes associated with those institutions before clicking the Search Button or Select All collections to search all collections.
